Hello little peach

Why hello there. We are so excited you are on your way. We went to your first appointment with the midwife, we got to see our first picture of you. You were just a little dot. But your heart beat sounded great at 123 beats per minute. Mommy has been feeling your presence every moment of the day, you are definitely sending mommy reminders that you're here to stay. Thank Heaven! This pregnancy is definitely different than with your older sister, Halen's. I didn't get very sick, but with you I am feeling morning sickness everyday all day. Which just shows that you are so strong, and this makes mommy smile.

Then a month later we went to your 11 week appointment. We didn't get to see a picture of you, but we got to hear your heart beat. This time it was 160 beats per minute, quite a jump! The midwife said everything sounded great.

Today I am 13 weeks pregnant, which means I am starting my 2nd trimester. I think I am starting to feel better, which is good. We will go back in a few weeks for your 16 week appointment. Then in January we'll get to see all your anatomy and find out if you ar a boy or a girl.

We have been talking to Halen about how there is a baby in mommy's tummy, she will point at mommy's tummy and say, "baby!" I already started a baby registry and we've told all our close family and almost all our friends at this point. You will join cousins, Crash who is 3 and Jager who was just born a few weeks ago. We haven't gone public with our announcement, but we will soon! We love you sweet baby. Get cozy and we are excited to meet you in June.

This is when we told YaYa about you! She was so excited! We told YaYa when she came in town for her birthday in October, I was 6 weeks pregnant then.

Hello little poppyseed.

Why hello there little one. This is your mommy, I found out you were growing in my tummy on Thursday, September 24th. Your big sister, Halen, woke me up really early. But I was too excited to go back to bed. I was seeking answers from God, which daddy and I had been praying about. Sure enough my question was answered...I was pregnant! I was covered in thankfulness and pure joy. We surprised your daddy about your arrival by putting mommy's "big sister" shirt YaYa had me wear when I became a big sister. Then after grabbing daddy some coffee, Halen woke daddy up to tell him the news. Daddy was so excited!!!

You are going to be such a perfect addition to our family. We've been praying for you and thinking about you for so long. Your big sister Halen is 16 months now, and is growing so fast into a busy toddler. She is very nurturing, smart and loving. I think she will be an incredible big sister.

I later called my doctor and made an appointment for October 16th, when they believe I will be about seven weeks along. We will get to hear your heartbeat and see a picture of you. As well as, hear your due date. Right now your estimated due date is June 2nd. Which is perfect. 2016 is going to be an incredible year. We're so exited to see if you're a boy or a girl and to meet you.

Get cozy in my tummy and prepare for some snuggle time with mama. I promise to give you everything you need, to protect you, love you unconditionally, pray over you, and fight for you.
